Professional Experience
After relocating from San Diego to the Netherlands, I have decided to hand over the reins of our family business to a new US-based team. I am therefore keen and ready to pursue a new career, in which I can apply my international business experience as well as my creative expertise.
SURFPURSE
Designed, developed, and manufactured Surfpurse, a surfboard and stand-up paddleboard carrying device
Marketed and sold products through our website, Etsy, and local street fairs
Applied creative skills, including graphic design, sewing, photography, and social media management
Obtained a U.S. patent in 2025
Surfpurse is an ongoing project I have been working on with a close friend since 2020.
We are just two gals who have a love and passion for the ocean, surfing, and innovation. "Sore arms and achy backs from our round-trip treks were taking a toll, so we both thought, why hasn’t someone invented something that helps surfers carry their logs and paddleboards? Why couldn’t that be us?!
More recently, we have been working on an updated design with greater flexibility so it can accommodate thicker paddle boards and kayaks.

My long-distance sister, Sydney, and I started reading mysteries together as a way to stay connected across continents. Then, of course, we decided to publish our silly conversations about the theories we come up with and what we learn along the way.
We have realized that podcasting is something that combines both of our talents and interests in a way that feels creative, engaging, and fun.
